For over a decade I have been supporting women in discovering their resilience and creating a tool box for living happier lives. I can support you through life coaching and as a psychotherapist. I help women break the cycle of chronic stress, anxiety, depression, overwhelm, burnout, self-destructive thoughts/behaviors and the vicious cycle of not feeling good. I provide support through life transitions. Some of these areas include becoming a parent, navigating a difficult relationship or divorce, losing a loved one, preparing for college, or recovering from a surgery.
Together we will utilize an evidenced based approach that integrates meditation, body-centered therapy, with effective talk therapy. My work is rooted in the buddhist principle of basic goodness - that as human beings we do the best we can to cope and survive the circumstances of our lives. From this perspective addictions, anxiety and depression are adaptations that when met with compassion can be healed. When we shift our focus to living in the present moment, we can recover our vitality, heal and let go of what no longer serves us. When we partner with the body in the healing process we create lasting behavior change and find a place of stability within.
