Jill Squyres Groubert, PhD is a nationally respected clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience helping people navigate life’s most difficult challenges. In her practice, she uses solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral and positive psychology approaches. She spent 12 years serving as a staff psychologist for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs where she specialized in treating patients with serious medical illnesses and spinal cord injuries. Her specialties include marital counseling, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma recovery, adolescents, interpersonal/relationship problems, parenting, women's issues, stress management, personal excellence, and coping with disability and medical illness. She has particular expertise working with gifted, talented and creative individuals, sensitive and intuitive people, the highly intelligent and, successful professionals. Dr. Squyres Groubert earned her BA in Psychology, Magna Cum Laude from The University of Rochester. She attended graduate school at the University of Southern California where she received her MA and PhD in Clinical Psychology. She’s published numerous papers, articles and book chapters. Dr. Squyres Groubert is a popular speaker who has given a TED talk with over 150,000 views. She has appeared on news programs and radio shows and has been interviewed for many newspaper and magazine articles.
